This October, Meetball Place in Patchogue is taking Halloween to a new level.

The restaurant at 52 W. Main St. has transformed into a full-fledged spooky dining experience, featuring theatrical decorations, themed food, and interactive entertainment.

The pop-up, called the Salem Sisters Halloween Experience, is a 90-minute immersive event inspired by Hocus Pocus.
Guests can explore elaborately decorated spaces, meet the “Salem Sisters,” sip seasonal cocktails, and sample themed dishes such as Salem Soft Pretzel, Bewitched Brats, and Graveyard Sticky Ribs

Each reservation includes a small keepsake and full access to the special menu.

“We’re trying to bring fun things to Patchogue, and the Halloween thing seems like it’s really going to be fun,” said co-owner Joseph Reale.Co-owner Scottie Campbell added, “It’s unlike anything Patchogue has seen before… it really feels like you’ve stepped into another world.”

A Peek Behind the Curtain

The Halloween takeover isn’t the only transformation underway.
Behind the scenes, the owners are launching a brand-new concept called Millie’s Smash Bar — a retro, 1950s-inspired burger joint operating within the same building.

Millie’s will feature a late-night menu with smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, and hand-cut fries, served from its own kitchen until 3 a.m. Patrons will be able to enter through Meetball Place’s main dining area.

Renovations began in late August and have been extensive: new flooring, bar tops, furniture, and restrooms, along with a complete overhaul of the back dining room.

When the Salem Sisters wrap up on November 2, the Halloween décor comes down, and Meetball Place will roll straight into a full rebrand, signaling a fresh era for the popular Main Street restaurant.

Final Word

Meetball Place has always been known for its playful personality, but this year’s Halloween transformation feels like a step beyond the usual seasonal décor.
Between the immersive Salem Sisters event, the upcoming Millie’s Smash Bar, and a full rebrand on the horizon, the Patchogue staple is clearly out to surprise its fans — and maybe scare a few of them too.
